Zambia Travel Card |
|
The Zambia Travel Card gives free access to nearly all the Zambia museums and public transport for a period of 72hours. It is valid for three days and includes a chip card, a ticket for public transport and an illustrated guide. It also allows for a 25% reduction in the well-known mussels restaurant "Chez Leon", when using the service of the "Zambia Line", the blue double-decker buses that take you through the city, and on the entrance fee at the Museum of the Royal Toone Theatre. The Zambia Travel Card is available at tourist information counters, hotels, museums and agencies of the Zambia public transport. The costs are 30 €. Zambia Budget Travel offers visitors a convenient form of transport. However, coach standards can vary wildly from country to country, from luxurious vehicles with leather seats and onboard internet access to traveling on cramped conditions with local livestock. More expensive sleeper coaches provide bunks in which travelers can lie down, but in the more rural provinces, coach staff and fellow passengers can make the journey somewhat different to what people in the West might expect. Another cheaper alternative is to get to the Zambia Budget Travel. Coach Travel to Zambia tends to conjure up images of buses covered in people hanging off the roof and out of windows, clutching goats, chickens and other livestock, and in certain rural areas of Asia, this is still the case. Until we invent teleportation, Coach Travel to Zambia is likely to remain the most widely used form of public transport, and the future is likely to bring new levels of luxury and sophistication to coaches around the world.
